Is Free Energy Options The Right Guide For You?

By Tim McDonald

Introduction

The Free Energy Options guide is said to be step-by-step, simple plans to make your own home solar and wind power. We disagree - we were never able to complete our solar power system, and customer support was non-existent.

What We Like About It:

1: Good Refund Policy:

We were never quite able to finish the solar panel, and customer support was useless, so we requested our money back. It is a good thing that ClickBank handled all transactions, so we were able to get our money back without any hassle, even 60 days after the purchase!

Why Shouldn't Buy It:

1: Not "housewife" friendly:

If you are one of those people that is not technically inclined, then Free Energy Options is not the guide for you. Vital details were left out in the solar power instructions, making it very difficult to build a working system. Although the home wind turbine plans were very detailed, they assume they the reader has experience in electronics and other diy projects.

2: Bad After-sale Support

Since the solar plans were incomplete, we contacted customer support for assistance. Well 5 emails and 3 weeks later, we still never had a reply. Perhaps Alan Hopkins, the author, has slipped into retirement and does not feel like answering emails anymore.

Verdict

Alan Hopkins' Free Energy Options eBook promised to be a step-by-step, easy to follow guide, even for a technical beginner. But it was not. The instructions were so poor we requested a refund. In our opinion, Alan Hopkins does not really exist, even though his picture happens to be on the product.

We would only recommend this guide for people that like a challenge. However, rather save yourself the headache and get a guide like Earth4Energy or Home Made Energy - for about the same price - that actually delivers what it promises.
